1st Choice Midwives
Sheryl Wright & Sue Holdom have been working together since 2003 and share a similar midwifery philosophy, in which women and their babies are 'the stars' and our role is providing holistic care, taking account of individual social, cultural, physical, spiritual and emotional needs. We both maintain our own caseload with the benefits of being supported by each other when required, ensuring the women we work with have access to a complete midwifery service 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. We offer a full midwifery service caring for women planning to birth at home or Birthcare Huntly, with continued support if birth at Waikato Hospital is required. We cover the entire North Waikato area - from Hamilton North to Meremere and from Te Akau to Tahuna (including Ngaruawahia, Huntly & Te Kauwhata).

Jennie Knight - New Additions Midwifery Villa
I am dedicated to helping women achieve the pregnancy and birth outcomes that they are aiming for. I am a Primary Care specialist, preferring to practice in a community setting - clinic, home or birth centre, however, I realise that some women need medical assistance during their pregnancy and/or birth and I am happy to support them through this.
Having lived rurally for most of my life I am more than happy to look after women who live in or around Raglan, Te Awamutu, Ngaruawahia and of course Hamilton. My midwifery clinic is at the New Additions Midwifery Villa on Massey Street in Frankton but I am happy to visit women at home if that is more convenient for you.
